# Kubernetes

This section collects the interactive architecture material for the ICS
Kubernetes platform. The catalogue is organized by the point of view used to
operate the platform:

- [Apps](apps.md) documents workloads deployed on Kubernetes.
- [Platform layers](layers.md) documents shared routing, access, storage, and
  other services used by those workloads.
- [Backup and recovery](backup.md) documents protection as a subsystem whose
  components include Kasten, CSI snapshots, storage, and workload integration.
- [Cluster infrastructure](cluster-infrastructure.md) documents the cluster
  boundaries and the infrastructure on which the workloads depend.

The diagrams are generated with Archify and published as self-contained HTML.

The catalogue presents the platform's intended architecture and operating
model. It is designed as a general system overview rather than a live-cluster
status view.
